2005 has been signed “Arrangement on Mutual Recognition of Quality control and hygiene safety of fish and fishery products” between the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of South Korea with the aim to mutually recognize the quality of fish and fish products traded by the two countries , MRA is considered effective because the system built by the two countries to make quarantine inspection process becomes easier and faster because of the quarantine on the exporters and importers are mutually recognize the quality of fish and fish products from companies that are already registered.
Companies are that want to export to Korea and wish to benefit from this MRA Fish Processing Unit (UPI) must be registered with the Board of Fish Quarantine, Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries R.I. Companies should apply, after being evaluated, verified and approved, the company will get a registration number will be sent to the Quarantine South Korea, said Nazori Djazuli, Secretary of State for Fisheries Quarantine, Quality Control and Safety of Fishery on a working visit to the National Fishery Products Quality Management service Busan (7/6) in order to conduct a review of the MRA that has aged 11 years and carry out inspections of several fish company that plans to export to Indonesia.
