Government officials and the private sector will form a joint council to cope with possible additional WannaCry ransomware cyberattacks.

As the first step to set up the council, the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning held a meeting on Tuesday, with related state agencies and businesses, including the Korea Internet and Security Agency, Chungnam National University, KT, Samsung Electronics and security software provider AhnLab.
