South Korea’s export volume declined since August.

Ministry of Industry, Trade and Resources South Korea on Saturday (10/01/2016) accumulating while the volume of exports in September worth of 40.9 billion US dollars. It decreased 5.9% than last September 2015.

The level of South Korean exports successfully jumped in August after 20 months of decline but again fell just in one month alone.

The decline in exports was due to workers’ strike Hyundai Cars, the case of the withdrawal of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, and a reduction in cargo ships.

According to the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Resources, exports decreased 7% due to the elements and the ratio of export decline in the 3rd quarter figure recorded 4.9% and was the lowest since the first quarter of last year.

Meanwhile, the volume of imports stood at 33.8 billion dollars or 2.3% less than the same period last year.

The current account surplus in September stood at 7.1 billion dollars and this surplus situation has lasted for 56 months.
