Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering has received the largest order secured by a South Korean shipbuilder so far this year.

The company announced on Thursday that it secured an order to build two liquefied natural gas ships and two very large crude carriers from Maran Gas Maritime and Maran Tankers Management, both of which are units of Angelicoussis Shipping Group of Greece. Daewoo received the orders during the Posidonia 2016 maritime exhibition under way in Athens.

The contracts are worth some 670 billion won, or about 580 million U.S. dollars, the largest order a South Korean shipbuilding company has received this year.

The company’s CEO Jung Sung-leep said that though the firm is in hard times, it will do its best to normalize its operations with the latest orders.
