The nation’s exports have dropped for the seventh straight month.
Based on a tentative tally, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said Saturday that exports fell three-point-three percent in July year-on-year to 46-point-six billion dollars.
Imports fell 15-point-three percent in July from the same month last year to 38-point-eight billion dollars.
The ministry said both exports and imports shrank for seven straight months since January.
The trade balance resulted in a seven-point-76 billion dollar surplus last month to continue a surplus streak for the 42nd month since February 2012.
