Denpasar – Bali provincial government  promote the development of commodity-based regional Arabica coffee, at the discretion of the center, namely the development of the agricultural sector should be based on the development of the area.

Head Plantation Bali Province, Ir IDM Duwuran Buana, the MP said, in 2015, Bali-based regional development project gets Arabica coffee, which will be developed in this area, Tuesday (23/6).

Location development includes three districts, namely in Bangli Regency in Kintamani District 6383 hectares (ha), and the District of Bangli 217 ha, in the District of Badung regency evening 1,413 ha.

While in Buleleng includes District Sukasada 810 ha, 789 ha Kubutambahan, and the District of Sawan 133 ha, and the program is to increase the income of farmers.

He said that the steps need to be done in 2015 which covers the activities, planning, preparation, recruitment of experts, the collection, compilation and data processing as well as exposure results masterplan.

Bali develop commodity-based region arabica coffee, as a result of people’s plantation that was smoothly enter the export market along with other plantation crops, such as cocoa and vanilla.

Bali as a tourism area is very favorable, since foreign tourists vacationing in this region who do business there.

Department of Industry and Trade Bali notes, foreign exchange earnings from the estates of the people of this area could break the US $ 719,000 in January-April 2015, up 6.95 percent from the same period the previous year was only US $ 672,000.
