Business leaders of South Korea and Mexico have gathered to discuss ways to enhance bilateral economic cooperation.

The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry(KCCI) and the Mexican Council for Trade, Investment and Technology(COMCE) jointly hosted the South Korea-Mexico Business forum on Monday in Mexico City.

About 400 businessmen representing leading companies of the two nations participated in the forum, which was held for the first time since 2010.

The participants include chiefs of major business associations and executives of large companies as well as government officials.

During the forum, the business leaders discussed ways to resume negotiations on a bilateral free trade agreement and cooperation in the areas of infrastructure, automobiles and healthcare.
