South Korea’s e-government technologies have been exported to East Europe.
South Korea’s Interior Ministry and the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Kori Udovicki signed a memorandum of understanding at the Seoul government complex on Wednesday.
Under the agreement, South Korea will cooperate with Serbia on establishment and operation of e-government systems.
The Serbian deputy prime minister said that Serbia is in the early stages of e-government and hopes for comprehensive cooperation with South Korea, which has experience and prowess in the area.
The ministry called the agreement significant in that the markets for the nation’s e-government systems have been expanded from Southeast and Central Asia and Latin America to Eastern Europe.
