South Korea’s exports rose two-point-seven percent on-year to 45-point-five billion dollars in November.

According to preliminary data released by the Trade Ministry on Thursday, a pickup in the unit price of semiconductors helped raise November exports to the largest since July 2015.

Exports to China, South Korea’s largest overseas sales destination, turned upward for the first time in 17 months to reach a year-high of eleven-point-seven billion dollars.

Imports increased ten-point-one percent on-year to 37-point-five billion dollars for a trade surplus of eight billion dollars. It marked the 58th consecutive month of surplus since February 2012.
