South Korea’s intention to reduce emission levels, it is necessary to transfer energy from fossil resources into energy sources that are more environment friendly. Bio energy became one of the alternative energy sources are relatively low-level emission and can be renewable energy.

Bio energy is generally used by mixing fossil fuels with fuels derived from environment friendly materials such as palm oil and processed derivative or the rest of the production of palm oil (PAO). Indonesia as the Number one as producer of palm oil in the world certainly has advantages in terms of supply of these products.

Refinery unit has a capacity of 120,000 kl per year by sourcing raw materials from Indonesia PAO.

Described by Charlie Lee, managing director, for the first product, the company was importing 500 tons of PAO from Surabaya with a value of US $ 220.000 to be processed into bio bunker. After all run perfectly, he predicted demand for vegetable oils will increase to 10,050 kl per month. Also added in 2015 the need for bio bunker ranges from 420,000 kl, for this year is expected will increase about 600,000 kl

As the largest supplier in South Korea for products PAO, Indonesia has a market share more than 38.7% of the total value of imports Korea about US $ 289 million and will increase as the policy of the Korean government to change fossil energy sources into energy source environment friendly.
