Top trade negotiators from South Korea, China and Japan will hold a seventh round of negotiations on a trilateral free trade agreement in Seoul for two days beginning Tuesday.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said that the ministry’s Director General for FTA Negotiations Kim Hak-do will meet with Japan’s Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Yasumasa Nagamine and China’s Vice Minister of Commerce Wang Shouwen.

The meeting will focus on key issues, such as negotiation guidelines for concessions on goods, trade liberalization of services and the scope of negotiable items.

The three countries have held six previous rounds of working-level negotiations on a trilateral trade pact since 2012.
